New York Should Make Trump's Tax Returns Public
We specifically advocated Congress subpoenaing them or using other mechanisms from any New York Governmental Agency that had them or having those agencies give them to Congress.
New York decided to go on a different path where they'd pass a law to allow for Trump's tax returns to be shared with Congress, which kind of defeats the point. See if you're going to this much effort why don't you let us all see it? Just say that any New York Tax Returns for the President or Vice President must be made public. Privacy concerns shouldn't apply because they hold positions of public trust. They actually limited the bill to those who hold public office. Furthermore, tax returns used to be made public.
That's it we'll all know whatever he's hiding and you're passing a law anyway.
